Re: New Software Announcement - SIXTH SENSE

[ QUOTE ] It doesn't even work. The "focus" jumps all over and my tables can't be detected, when I know I'm in the right list. I just had to turn it off, it was useless. Back to the old method til this gets straightened out. [/ QUOTE ] Apparently lots of people are having problems with it. Hopefully we'll have a fix for this very soon. -Ben [/ QUOTE ] Any update/ETA on this one? |

Re: New Software Announcement - SIXTH SENSE
New build of SS released:
v1.0.0.25 - 7/28/06 - Changed: New Application Icon - Changed: Advanced Options (CTRL-O) "Table Open Method" can be - Open Only (Default) - Open And Join (Will open the table, and join it if full) - Join Or Open (If full will join the table but not open, if not full will open the table) - Changed: Table Column is wider (so can see "Monster XXXXXXXX" completely) - Fixed: Shortcut for Log (Ctrl-L) conflict with Clear filter -Ben |

[ QUOTE ] I cant get it to display any HH data. Maybe it isnt locating my DBs correctly? How do I go about remedying this? [/ QUOTE ] Have you checked the User guides > Database Setup section of the website? It has instructions there. -Dan [/ QUOTE ] Yes, but it only seems to allow me to use one db |

Re: New Software Announcement - SIXTH SENSE
I love this program so far. However, where is there a copy of the rules for the scores by default? Here's my problem - there is a score of 2.9 at a table, but also -3. So the table is -.1 but the fish is bad and I would still like to sit. How can I deal with that. I was thinking of editing the scoring but I need the original scoring to do that.

Where in the instructions does it "go wrong"? I'm sure we can figure it out with more info. -Ben |

[/ QUOTE ] At the current time, we are keeping our scoring method a secret since it gives us a competitive advantage. By looking at enough players though you could probably figure it out. You can use the custom scoring dialog to make up your own scores, and then compare that to the fish score. Hopefully that helps. I forgot to add, just as finding fish is important, avoiding other sharks is also important. -Ben |

TT [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] [/ QUOTE ] I love this idea, including one where fish are ranked the same but sharks are a max of -.1 or -.2. I can change my game to deal with good players, I would still rather be at a table in position with 1 big fish and 4 other good players vs. 5 decent players. |
