[/ QUOTE ]No, it'll translate for the first few levels but later you have to start making very unorthodox (relative to cash) plays. HOH is a really good book, I read 1+2, not 3rd yet. |

before switching to cash game in 2007 in played 1year and a half of MTT.
I made FT of the 10$ rebuys twice and the 3$ rebuy once at stars. could not make it to the final 3 on the 3 occasions. It was really tough in the final table and I didnt know what to do. I won two omaha hi/low tourney and thats it, all the rest was coolers...its can be so long between FT it sux. But man the rush you get when you actually FT a 10$+rebuys with a 12K to first place... |

Or maybe the turbos. Is it worth doing the turbos? I'm not sure who benefits when the blinds go up quickly - the fish or the good players? |

I may actually be interested in staking someone for some mtts, or buying some action at least. I frequently want to play in the 50/50 but never feel like commiting the time.
are any of you regs decent ----- good at mtts? Maybe a few of us can back someone into some of the larger buy in events. I like the excitement...but hate playing them. lol. |

I'm not sure what to make of my official poker ranking stats. Small sample size, especially in NL, of 158. Less than 0% ROI in NLHE but overall 38% ROI becaue I've won a stud, 3rd in Horse, and finished high in a pot limit HU tournament with huge buyin. But most tournaments I play have 1500+ people, lol, and I bust out in middle a ton.
Avg. Finish Early 7% (10%) EM 16% (20%) Mid. 34% (40%) ML 26% (20%) Late 17% (10%) (I won't accept backing, just giving a general idea of how I run.
