Wow, Dynamo Kiev has gone 2-0 up on Real Madrid. I'm pretty happy they're making the trip that far as Sevilla play them this weekend.

yeah there is groups, top 2 from each group move onto the knockout round of 16.

edit: in the knockout rounds, teams play one at home and away, aggregate score winner moves on, final is one game at a nuetral local, IIRC

Basically. Today is the last day of the group stage. Next they draw for the knockout stage. The difference is that with the exception of the final, which is played at a neutral site, there are twice as many matches because you play every team once at your place and once at theirs in both the group and knockout stages.

Way too many free kicks given away by Benfica. Against a team as good as Man United at set pieces you can't do that.
