If anyone has first hand info on what took place at the 'Big Meeting' today with the state, we would love to hear some of the decisions that were worked out. i.e. max buyin amounts, jackpot do'es and don'ts stradleing etc.

the 100$ max buy in is a a bit conservative.

for those who dont knnow or are looking for a generalization atleast in miami,broward/ hard rock.

1/2 NL Is Min $40.00 Max 100$
2/4(5) 5/10 is min and max of 100$

However from what I can say on the 5/10 table
when i went they only had one going.

and everyone had about 1000-1500$ stacks.
apparently one of the floormen was telling us its pretty much a bunch of guys sitting with a 100,going all in and rebuying for another 100 on the spot if they dont double up.

So they have 2/4 and 5/10 NL with $100 max buy-in, or is it all limit above the 1/2NL game? I'm confused...

In the rooms I frequent:

NL with max $100 buyin: 1/2 and 2/5.

LHE: 1/2, 2/2, 2/4, 3/5.

That is way way bad. SC at one time had legal video poker. Some dumb bitch left an infant who died in the car. That was
reason #1 it was rolled back. If you see anyone in a car in the parking lot, tell security, especially a kid or senior citizen, or vulnerable adult. Poker can be rolled back if we aren't careful, and this could do it. If a kid dies cuz dad was blowing his college fund, you can see the commercials.

A mother was convicted here in South Florida a year or so ago for leaving her kid in the car while she went to a movie. But there's been no talk of banning movies.

WOW SINCE EVERYONE IS AS RATIONAL AS YOU NO ONE'S GOING TO TRY TO BAN POKER.

The TAMPA GREYHOUND tourney has the best structure in the area......and only an 11% rake.

Had a great day at Pompano yesterday, first table was surprisingly tight so I looked around and saw my favorite atm sitting a table over and it turned out the whole table was pretty much randomely throwing chips in the middle. Have another day off and heading down there again today. IMO room is pretty well run and improving daily.

And yes, while this tournament has the best of the 30 minute structures in the area (I have a spreadsheet of all mtts) it doesn't mean a damn thing if they can't get the game running, and hell even once it's up and going, it'll need 5+ tables to make it worthwhile.

IF and that's a BIG "IF".....IF it gets off the ground, it's listed to start at 1pm Saturday.

To date, this game HAS NOT run due to low registrants.
