Eek. Sounds like the best case scenario is that it's a nagging injury, keeping him out for a few days?

Beltran was limping noticeably. Couldn't tell if it was his groin, knee or ankle bothering him though. Might be a one night thing, could be a 2 month thing. You never know with him.

from yahoo: NEW YORK CENTER FIELDER CARLOS BELTRAN HAS LEFT THE GAME IN THE BOTTOM OF THE FIFTH INNING WITH AN APPARENT LEFT KNEE INJURY.

but that's not 100% right.

if they resume play after the rain, pedro is done for the night, no? come on mets bullpen!

Beltran: bruised patella, according to SNY.

He has a boo boo. He better get his ass out there tomorrow. Unless he's celebrating Yom Kippur.

The word 'celebrate' in the same sentence with any Jewish holliday doesn't quite fit.

So break down of today

1)Nationals continue to be [censored] useless
2)Mets have an 8-4 lead and to it feels like were losing
3)Lead down to 1 game, barring a rainout 0.5 games after the offense faills to pad this lead and the bullpen blows it by the 8th
