Yep. I also liked that they were very clear to point out that the losties are not dead or in purgatory, but do think it's interesting that the way they describe them is as being 'somewhere in the space time continuum'. As a person who is also a fan of theoretical physics and string theory this presents some potentially disturbing solutions to me.

Yes, that was very conspicuous phrasing. The first thing it made me think is: What if at the end of the series they somehow all end up dying on the plane at the bottom of the ocean, like helicopter chick described?

Yes, that was very conspicuous phrasing. The first thing it made me think is: What if at the end of the series they somehow all end up dying on the plane at the bottom of the ocean, like helicopter chick described?
