I obv didnt consider it a value bet, just a bluff and i wanted to check raise it for image/no showdown. You are right a weak Q probably wouldnt VB a river i just threw that in there as an extra reason to c/r. also i still like the c/r in this situation to let him know im capable but i will say this might have been a bit of auto pilot, this is a move i use sparingly when i think someone is bluffing the river because i dont have enough SD value to call, JJ here is pretty much at the top range of bluff catchers so i call is fine too. |

ON a completely different note....
1) looking for a 100/200nl player to discuss hands with over IM.. if interested PM me. I have recently taken some lessons and was advised should find someone to talk to about hands. 2) i just received an email from FT for a $500 bonus offer, guess maybe because i just passed 30k FT points? Anyways i need to accept it. I earn .06 for every FTpoint. I have 14 days to clear... does this come out of rake? If so is it a better value or no? ON a side not i wont be able to clear it, i will be in dallas thur-sunday and wont be playing blah... thoughs |

Donkey5layer and sdfsdf (and anybody else), my AIM is mdnshooter...always on willing to discuss hands, and I'd actually love to sweat/send videos back and forth..PM/IM me if you'ld like.
I havent gotten to play much lately, but am starting to get back and will be recieving some coaching here as soon as I get some time....but Im always looking to discuss hands/strat/theory. |
