Hey Bart... is there ever an occasion where you'd specifically run the river twice, rather than 3 times? I would assume you'd do it when it's a situation where you're almost 50/50 with the person in the pot with you, but I'm curious if that's really the case?

Read the FAQ on the LATB web site. Running it does not change the EV at all.

Barry, the King of Slowplay does it again. Mike continues to be disgustingly lucky. What else is new?

LOL... not to sound flippant, but don't you think I've read that? I'm well aware of WHY people do it. I do it myself.

If there were no rhyme or reason to it, they wouldn't offer a choice of 2 or 3 times. Since they do - when does it makes sense to run it twice vs. 3 times? I'm curious to hear Bart's take on it given he's been in that situation many times before.

running it 3 times has less variance than running it twice. if you ran it 1000 times it would pretty much reflect the "true results." im not really sure what you are getting at.

Just a guess, but I think Tuchman is going to be the new host of CardPlayer's "The Circuit."

In a nutshell... Alan flopped trip Q's and Steve turned 10's full.
