I know nothing about making a motion avatar, but I have an idea of what I'd like to morph mine into.
My avatar is the word LIAR written diagonaly to look like a face. If someone could make it happen, here's what I'd like:

1) The mouth of the face opens and the cursive word "liar" comes out. (as pictured in my avatar, only rotated and small, to make it look like the face is saying the word)

2) The image zooms in closely to the word "liar", and rotates to form the original face in my current avatar.

3) There is a 10-15 second delay as a still, matching my current avatar, and the cycle begins again.

If anyone is willing to make this happen, I would be very grateful.

#1 no pause #2,3, and 4 just have different borders and a 12 second pause.

Thanks at first I did not think it was possible but then it kinda came together pretty easy. Great ideas like this one are the reason I made the thread. Awesome idea by P Chippa helped me learn a new trick.

Stuey, can you animate my Duke D somehow? Just making it spin or something would be fine.

Stuey,

This is my first avatar. I would like to learn the technique you've outlined eventually, but in the meantime could you make one up for me based on this itube clip from the Colbert Report. Just the eagle at 0:00:34-0:00:36 or 0:00:50-0:00:52, whichever you think is better.

Thanks in advance.

Stuey and the Garage-

For a long time, I thought I was the only one with a Sideshow Bob avatar. It seems, however, that Hornacek also has a Sideshow Bob. Leaving aside the question of why he doesn't have a picture of Hornacek as his avatar, I suppose it's time for a change. Can you hook me up with an awesome Serpico avatar?

Thanks!
