[ QUOTE ]
Things people (often including myself) like that actually suck:

Fake boobs
Sizzler
American Idol
Kevin Smith movies
Frosted tips on guys
Josh Hartnett
Ryan Cabrera
Oprah's Book Club
Ayn Rand
Lance Armstrong bracelets
Nikki Cox

Now, it's okay to like all of the following. But if you regularly describe any of these as 'genius' then it is likely that you suck:

George Carlin
Radiohead
Spielberg
Kurt Cobain
John Irving
Stephen King

A note on Creed:
It's actually Scott Stapp that sucks. Mark Tremonti is a fine guitarist.

[/ QUOTE ]
Holy cow! Another fantastic list of additions. My hair is turning gray but is not frosted. That doesn't count does it? Geroge Carlin is a great call. He might have been funny if I was born in 1971, but I am not *that* old.

People that walk around wearing Bluetooth headsets for their cellphones. I was actually going to post a thread on this particular issue.

[/ QUOTE ]
Disagree. If they are annoying cell phone users or obvious posers/wannabes/"playa/pimps" I agree that the headset amplifies the annoyingness. However, while I would never put one of those queer things on my ear, I have seen people who use them in a reasonable manner.

Sex in the City
Any reality TV show
Any MTV show
Dave Matthews Band
Widespread Panic
NASCAR
Titanic (the movie)
Pearl Harbor (the movie)
Volvo's

I also want to expound some on Dave Matthews Band... I live and went to college in the South and there are a ton of people down here who are obsessed with them. NEWSFLASH: THEY F'ING SUCK. They are all ugly and old, their songs all sound the same, the lead singer's voice is terrible.

[/ QUOTE ]
While I am not the hugest fan... I think your any reality/MTV show categories are a little bit too broad. There are some guilty pleasures buried in both of those for plenty of non-sucky people.

What is so objectively horrible about Suduku?

[/ QUOTE ]

I do not hate Sudoku but I hate people who say that they like Sudoku and won't shut up about how good they are at it.

[/ QUOTE ]

True, but the issue here isn't Suduku at all, it's [censored].

If I had all the time in the world, I would go through this thread and point out everybody who is horribly wrong. Most recently the guy who thinks that "pot stickers" and "Anchorman" are signs of idiocy? (seriously Pot Strickers, explain that one for me?)

[/ QUOTE ]

agreed on both

QPips. I get the OP plenty. Clearly I don't think all of these things suck 100%. I also concede to sucking as I like a few of them quite a bit. I simply thought it was a good list of things that in combinations can be very non-suck fatal.
