That is very wrong. Flames are rare in Politics. What you mean is that libertarian thought should be excluded because it is unpopular.

[/ QUOTE ]
Yeah, it definitely seems like it would be "very wrong" to suggest the politics regulars would act the same way in politics that they do in ATF.

omg this is why no one reads politics

[/ QUOTE ]

You mean because most posters here who bash politards suck at logic, rhetoric and knowledge of the facts in various issues, and realize that posters like pvn would pwn them to death? If that's not what you meant it's true anyway.

[/ QUOTE ]

You're pretty close. What he means is that he doesn't like his moral principles examined.

He'd rather see two people argue about whether it's better to wear brown boots or black boots when kicking someone in the head than to see a discussion of whether kicking people in the head is a good idea or not.

Direct flames are rare. But there are almost no regular posters that respect the conversation that is occuring. They just blast each other with hyperbole all day. It can be entertaining at times, but you have to be pretty committed to spreading a viewpoint to go through it for very long.

That is a politics message board which spends most of its time discussing US politics. Fred Thompson recently announced his candidacy and there was not one thread on it, and almost no mention of it in posts. That seems odd to me.

PS. You never did tell me which Bear is in your avatar.
