I haven't played on bodog for ages, but when I did I thought they had great software. The cards were too small IIRC, but I enjoyed my time playing there. Don't know why they would attempt to mend something that weren't broken.

The old software was good. This new version is attrocious. Unusable. Abominable. Wretched.

Consider it emailed. I have been playing on there site since it was first released and this is just miserable.

The small PIP windows suck to play in. If I want to see a hand history, guess what, its in the center of the screen and my game is pushed off to one of the small windows. Not that it matters since the HH feature doesn't work properly anyway. sucks

If you call a bet on the end you they just push the pot to the winner. You can't see the cards or what the winning hand was. sucks

As a software developer I see this sort of thing all the time. Some manager gets a hair brained idea for new options on a piece of software, sets an unreasonable deadline, leaves testing out of the process, doesn't listen to feedback. At least they will get fired when everybody starts withdrawing their money.

Wow, I'm guessing Bodog had a prop bet they couldn't build worse poker software than Pacific.

I'm also a software developer and one fundamental tenent of design is you design the software for the end user, not for you. I highly doubt they considered any input from serious online poker players.

Add me to the list of cashouts. I really enjoyed bodog, and I did very well there. Is it back to party?

I have left there as well. Going back to Raiseandfold.

Smaller room, nice folks, still fish there.

I as well tried playing two tables today, and it was like figuring out geometry or something. Why they ruined a good room with bad , ok super bad software is crazy.

The worst feature by far is the total lack of any kind of alert when it is your time to act in one of the "picture in picture" windows. I've already lost a number of hands because of it. This is just stupid. I don't see how this could possibly get by any programmer or manager. No more Bodog for this and other reasons. I'm going to send them an email with a link to this thread.

Seconded.

I'd also suggest including a link to the previous thread on the Beta software

If you go to settings, there is a checkbox for ALERT and also one for somethink like "SHOW CARDS" or something like that. It might address some of the worries in this thread.

I have not actually played since the upgrade, so I dunno if those checkboxes solve these concerns.
