excellent post. i still have quite a bit to learn on this particulat topic (in the meantime i'll stick to the Dbitel Rule when in doubt), but it's great to be able to refer back to it whenever need be. thanks a lot for this.

Much of the basis of your concept/s is based on a limit holdem game. Not saying you aren't correct or have very good ideas....just that these concepts are geared much more towards SSNL (and should be adopted for the most part). As you move up, 'metagame' and 'shania' and 'game theory' take precedence over the level one thinking.

A good rule of thumb....figure out what level your opponent is playing on, and play on that same level only better. If you are on a higher or lower level then what you think and how you are acting/reacting will not be in sync with optimal play and thus make life difficult if not bad for you.
