This is excellent advice. And those nits who think it's -EV you have to think long term. If this site takes off, other sites will have to follow by reducing their rake. I have been playing for 5 years online and I don't even want to calculate the rake I paid...it would have serious consequences for my mental health.

And if some of you nits and cry babies still don't like sports betting, then do this:

First take WSEX's 20% sports bonus. Then hit up another sports book that offers 20% or more. Search for the best lines and hedge your bets between the 2 sports books. This way it's even +EV.

Why would it have any effect on your interpretation? You could just say "Hey, I'm gonna go violate the wire act and place a bet on sports." Interpreting law so that you can say you're not breaking it is kind of funny.

Hell, I can't even place a bet on the Memphis Grizzlies on WSEX tonight just based on principle.

I said I would bet on WSEX if the lines were pretty similar to lines elsewhere.

Hell, that's not even close. And the nitty EV-guy in me just can't bring myself to place the bet on WSEX.


DAL +5, -110 on WSEX is close enough to Pinnacle's -108 that I'll go ahead and sacrifice two pennies to give WSEX a little action.
