Default KEM and Copags list updated

Added some decks after going through my good setups.

Here are the decks I want to restore to use, in order of preference:

TYPE: KEM Blue Arrow (code 902 on the As) http://www.kem.com/arrow.html
SIZE: Bridge (2-1/4" x 3-1/2" labeled as Regular Size for KEM)
INDEX: Magnum (small pips in corners, extra large middle pips)
You can see an example here: http://www.kem-cards.com/playing-car...;cs=0&fs=3
CARDS NEEDED: From the blue deck- Ad 6d 7d 10c

If purchase is required, I'd be willing to pay about 30 cents per card.

TYPE: COPAG Mandella Blues http://www.chessset.com/copagpoker2.html
SIZE: Bridge
INDEX: Super Index
CARDS NEEDED: From the blue deck- 9s 4s

TYPE: COPAG Egret/Tropics deck http://www.chessset.com/copaggarca.html
SIZE: Bridge
INDEX: Jumbo Index
CARDS NEEDED: From the gray deck- 3d 4c

I would trade from the Copags in order to aquire the Magnum KEM cards, if necessary

-------

Here are decks that I can supply in trade, or will trade for to fill in other decks.

Note that I only mark cards as damaged if the backs are marked. If the faces are marked/discolored, I don't care. If you do care, let me know when you ask about the cards and I can check them.

TYPE: KEM Pharaoh (code 1202 on the Ace) http://www.kem.com/kembacks.html
SIZE: Bridge
INDEX: Super Index

CARDS DAMAGED: Orange interior background- 9s Qd 8d Jc Tc 5c
Blue interior background- 8c 8d

TYPE: KEM Victorian blue and orange decks (code 4-03 on As)
similar to these- http://www.mystery-games.com/victorian.html
SIZE: Bridge
INDEX: Regular Index

CARDS DAMAGED: Blue deck- 9s 3s 9d 5d Jc 6c 4c Qh Th 7h 4h Ah
Orange deck- About half of the deck is damaged, so ask for specific cards- only the Jd 7d are bad from that suit
----

These older KEMs are available for trade. Since I have a second deck of them, the available cards might change.

TYPE: KEM - white background, blue New Orleans Saints-type symbol as the pattern (Code 195 on the As)
SIZE: Bridge
INDEX: Regular Index

CARDS DAMAGED: 8d Kc Tc 4c 5h Ks 5s 4s

----
These cards are questionable- some have marks in the background area, some have marks or pen marks on the white borders.

TYPE: KEM Maple (code 1297 on the As) http://www.kem.com/kembacks.html
SIZE: Bridge
INDEX: Regular Index

CARDS DAMAGED: Red maple deck only- I salvaged one working deck from the 2-deck setup of Red Maple cards. Ask about specific cards and details

Default I lied- the cards are still available :(

While the regular pip size (vs. the Super Index of my current deck) weren't a big deal, the backs are much less glossy/bright in color. They easily stand out in my deck and therefore can't be used.

So, these cards are still available from me or Cin

This is a great idea. It may take some time before it relly catches on, but Im currently in need of an Ace of Diamonds.

Claifornia Casino: Red
Ace of Spades: C103
Bridge Size

Now if noone has a card available for me, I will have 51 Red California Casino cards available in a couple of months.

Keep this thread fresh.

Can you give us a better description, or preferably a picture link, of California Casino cards? Or are these KEMs from a Cali card room?

I'd hoped that we'd have more success early on, but I should have realized that most games aren't going to be as large as mine, nor have as many available decks. Let's hope it eventually works for some people.

Default Re: Official KEM replacement exchange marketplace post

I have been trying to contact KEM since July last year to get a replacement card for KEM Blue Paisley (Bridge set) Ace of Diamonds. Letters returned unopened, emails unanswered. Now I know why. Just found you through google.

If you do decide to break up your Paisley set - please let me know as I do need just the one card. KEM Blue Paisley (Bridge set) Ace of Diamonds.

I live in Sydney Australia - but will gladly pay postage. I have nothing to trade I am afraid.

Hi everyone. I just saw this thread and figured I would give it a test. I've been searching since last year for replacement cards for my two KEM decks. (I have to say for the money they charge I was not happy with mine) I don't know if i got bad luck or what but I own 3 KEM decks and I've had a card actually crack in each of the decks. Luckily I was able to replace of card before they went out of business. Now I am in need of the following two cards:

Blue Arrow Back
9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
Poker size

Maroon Arrow Back
10 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
Poker size

I don't have any cards to trade so if the price is right I will gladly pay for these two cards.

I don't have the cards to send you. However, you might want to be clear on what pip size the decks are (unless that doesn't matter to you)

Where did you get the decks from BTW- eBay, or an online retailer?

I bought them from an online retailer. If I remember correctly I think it was Nicetoys.com
What is pip size?
