White men can't jump?

I think black people have a natural ability to jump overall. I'm 6 feet - pretty strong legs - and I can't even touch the rim.

I went to high school with JJ Sullinger and he actually did no have the highest vertical of everyone in my high school. The kid with the highest vertical was a white goalie for our soccer team. If you don't know who JJ Sullinger is, he is a basketball player for Ohio State with a pretty nice vertical.

Real answer:

Black people typically have a different muscles insertion points in their legs that allow a faster contraction. As an average the average black dude will have better insertions than a white person (who'll have better ones than an Asian person).

I'm 6'6", can easily dunk despite being horribly out of shape, and have been able to do so since I was 12 and 6'0". I figure we cancel each other out.

Whenever this gets brought up there's speculation that because black people were bred as slaves for strength and size, they excel at athletics... I don't really buy that, but I have to say, I know way more black kids who can jump.

At my high school there were no white people who could dunk. Including some big kids. At the high school for boys (mostly black, inner city kids) I just got laid off from I worked with a bunch of kids my height or less who could throw down with either hand. (I'm 6 feet). I had a 5'8" kid who could catch alley-oops off the backboard.

FWIW I can't dunk but do have a decent vertical. Some white people have some bounce.
