Two things to note:

I would think you should build in this manner:

Stealth
Attack
Stealth
Attack
Fortification

Etc.

Since players start with around $5.00, you can get much more by attacking bases, then use that money right away to fortify. I don't know, I already spent it on fortification, but now I'm rethinking.

I also, somehow hit a jackpot and got another 200 moves on the day in one search. It was weird, but I'm already getting pretty bored with this.

How does this spying thing work? Is it worth it?

(I signed up under you by the way)

I would guess that if you have a higher 'stealth' than they have 'security' you can find out their fortification level.

If they have a level equal to or under yours you can attack with I would guess more success, getting more money than you would in the mountains, allowing you to build your stealth/attack/fortify easier.

I think security would be the least valuable. Who cares if they can see that you have a fortification of 20.

This is all speculation, as I can't move until tomorrow now and have only one fortification upgrade and couldn't find a stealth store before I ran out of moves.

Somehow I moved 977 times today though.

And after this long post, I've realized I'm spending way too much time on this. But it could be a fun 5 minute diversion every day.

So with soft shoes and a rock I should be ready to take on all comers, right?

The closer their level of attack is to your level of fortification, the more money they will take from you when they attack. (that's just a rule) So if you try to upgrade attack-stealth-attack-stealth, I think they will rob you blind.

If you have a base with 0 fort, 0 security, anyone with 1 attack, 1 stealth can see this, and take away a lot of your money.

I think security is one of the most important stats. If you have a security of let's say 4, only level 5 players can see what your fortification level is. All players below this level will be afraid to attack you, because they don't know how strong you are.

And if a high level player attacks you, he cannot take very much of your money, because his attack skill is much higher than your fortification level.

If a player finds your base and you have no fortification/security upgrades, he'll just take a note of your coordinates, share them with his friends and they will come by every day to attack. Without money and without a safe base to save some money for defense, you're basically done with the game.

Now I'm spending too much time on this

The idea is not to ugrade and store. It's to upgrade those two fast, attack weak newcomers, and then upgrade defense and security with that.

I think it's just a quicker way to overall upgrades, rather than fortifying nothing.

I'm not sure what you guys are doing but keep it up.

As more people join each member of Hail Commodus! gets stronger. I agree the game play is very boring and I'm no expert on the proper strategy but I think once we can attack other bases as a group on a whim we shall enjoy it much more.

I think that if we're even halfway serious about playing this game for some time, we can't post stats and coords on a public forum.

No offence captain Stuey, just a thought.

After we get some experience we can post in code and use our Little Orphan Annie decoder rings to decipher
