What color is a tennis ball? (don't cheat!)

I have tennis balls that have more green in them than the balls pictured in the thread. Neither green or yellow seems right to me, I answered "results plz." The color really is between green and yellow, with more yellow, though I have tennis balls that are darker.

FWIW, I have tennis balls in my bag right now that are white.

knee-jerk reaction was green, but it can definitly see how people would think yellow. But a tennis ball will probably always just be green to me for no other reason then it always has been.

They are generally green, I played tennis in high school and they were always green, yes they do use yellow on grass at times and sometimes even blue indoor or on clay

Actually it proves that the ball is green. When contrasted to the true yellow paint, you can clearly see the ball has a slightly blue pigment.

Blue + Yellow = Who cares if you call it yellow or green?

Anyway, I voted white. Because I think the ball is white, but the little "cilia" are yellow.

majority of tennis balls are yellow, but there are some green and some that are other colours(blue, white, etc)
Saying the ball is white and the cilia is yellow is being a nit.
