This is terrible. If they don't want to give you 3k cash they need to give you 3k worth of tournament equity through some other means. I'm angry. There so much abuse of players that goes on around the internet. I think that these sites deserve serious repercussions. An injury to one is an injury to all.

F' Bet365. I've given them so much $ in rake, refered friends to them, etc. and the bastards bar me from the sportsbook for going on a little winning run. They also barred me from all poker and casino bonuses. I can't wait to bend them over again on my girlfriend's account.

I just sent an email to Bet365 poker. I encourage everyone else to do the same. Their email address is : support@customerservices365.com
Here's the text: Dear Sir, I am a high volume online poker professional, and am considering signing up to your site. I often play at partypoker, but I don't like their software very much, so I'm looking for a change in pace. I saw an add for your site on the internet, and thought that your cardroom might be what I was looking for. However, I just read a post on the internet forum at www.twoplustwo.com describing a situation that makes me doubt that my money will be safe with you. A player won a $300 satellite for a prize of $3000 in tournament equity. He tried to use his buyin for a higher satellite, which you required him to do. However, no such opportunity was available, and the player was unable to enter the 3k satellite for the Monte Carlo Millions. Instead of doing the proper thing, and properly compensating this player from the 3k in tournament equity that he rightfully earned, you offered him a mere $500 in tournament equity. Please explain to me how this is different from stealing $2,500 from this player, and why I should feel safe depositing money at your casino. Sincerely, XXXXXX XXXXX |

I've sent one too, with slightly more harsh wording
[ QUOTE ] Dear Sir/Madam I have played on your poker site before, some freerolls, some HU matches and some SNGs. However my primary site was the PartyPoker skins; since they have closed those down and I have no rakeback I was looking for a new site, and was considering playing on yours. Unfortunately I have since found out from a poker forum I frequent, on www.twoplustwo.com, that a player won a $300 satellite for entry into a $3k tournament, which never filled out its seats through no fault of his own - in fact, I would go as far as to say that the fault for that was entirely on your side, because there were never enough satellites to it. Now, instead of doing the right thing for both this customer and your own PR, you decide to take this $3k and offer him a measly $500 entry (not even any cash) into some other satellite, which again you probably won't even fill the final tournament for, so are you then going to take this $500 from him as well, not being content with the $2500 you have already stolen? I feel very disappointed with your actions on this, and cannot feel safe playing on your site if this is the kind of action you take. Especially to a player who, I am led to believe, has played often on your site and even referred friends. Is it worth $2.5k to have such bad publicity? Good job, I have a feeling I'm not the only one who won't be playing on bet365 poker anymore. Sincerely [/ QUOTE ] |

Well, that sure does suck.
But, honestly this is water compared to what happened on prima sites in the past, with suspending peoples accounts and holding back their money for months etc. Hundreds and hundreds of angry people wrote them angry mails and swore to never set foot on their site again. On a scale from 1-10, guess how much they cared about those e-mails? |

[/ QUOTE ] I don't know anything about Prima, so I can't make any intelligent comments about their business organization, but I can tell you that when enough people get together and want to make something happen, it does. My last job was a union organizer. Seeing enough "miracles" made me realize that there's nothing magical about taking matters into your own hands. Its the only way to win. |
