I lived in Fairbanks for the first 21 years of my life. How about you?

[/ QUOTE ]

Born in Valdez, moved to Fairbanks when I was 5. Went to college in Colorado and now am back in Fairbanks. About 15 years total in Fairbanks.

[/ QUOTE ]

Where in Fairbanks do you live?

[/ QUOTE ]

I grew up in Shannon Park, when I went to school my parents bought a house up off of Mcgrath road. I know live off of S. Cushman.

[/ QUOTE ]

Why did you move back? I was so eager to get out of Alaska.

My parents now own a house in North Pole, just off the Richardson.

I went to Ketchikan Alaska about a year ago on a business trip for a week. One night I stumbled into a bar that had a big bell near the main part of the bar that if someone rank it they bought the entire bar a shot. Of course this was a glorious idea and I did it. I cann't remember the name of this bar, does anyone know the name?

I've been back for a little under 2 years. I originally came up here because I had no idea what I wanted to do after college and am now here to work. After this summer I plan on spending all my time off in the winter somewhere else and come back up here durring the summer to work.

But anyways....I've heard that in Northern Alaska you can come close to 24 hours of daylight in the summer. What's that like?

I've never been to Ketchikan but I can tell you that durring the pipeline building days this was a very common thing in many of the bars in Fairbanks.

Where do you work? I was a manager at the Airport Road Fred Meyer when I was an undergraduate. That's the only job I ever had in Fairbanks.

I work for a concrete company thats located right off Badger Road. Used to be McPeak Redi-Mix but it has a new owner now.

When was the last time you were back here? Lots of development has gone on right next to Seekins.
