I have a 3.3 at syracuse in math/poly sci. I'm a senior, my last two years have been fairly dismal(2.8 I guess?), and my freshman/sophomore years were pretty good (3.7 or something). grad school and business school are things I'm considering doing in the future, but I don't think it's much worth it to go to a second-tier or worse school. did I shoot myself in the foot for messing around the last two years?

[/ QUOTE ]

grad school, probably. business school, likely not, depending on what you're able to do after graduation.

What if I dropped out of school to play poker, but left with a horrendous GPA...could I get into another school at a later date to get a degree with little trouble? And I mean a decent one like UNLV.

[/ QUOTE ]

dropping out with a horrendous gpa is far better than staying in and then failing out later because all you do is play poker.

[/ QUOTE ]

Can I get into another school though? Is that even possible?

[/ QUOTE ]

where do you go now? getting back into a similar, but different, school will be much harder (read: probably impossible) than dropping down a tier or begging for readmission to where you go now.
