If you don't want distractions, move to rural Minnesota. You could live in Morton Minnesota and play at Jackpot Junction. But I would think that small of a town would drive New Yorker batty.

You could try living in the suburbs- say Shakopee or Chaska or Chanhassen- those sort of have the small town feel yet are close to Minneapolis . You could play at Canterbury. Their highest limit is 30/60. From what I've heard the juiciest game is 20/40 O'maha. But there are bad players at levels, including up to 6/12 (from what the dealers tell me- I usually play 2/4 or 3/6.

Turning stone is terrible as a card room and they dont have higher stakes games. I am looking for 5/10 NL and 500$ sngs/mtts at the lowest.

if this is what you're looking for MN is the wrong place. There's no NL here, and many casinos don't have SNGs. Wisconsin has NL, but I think you have to be 21.

I agree...LA is the your best choice. You could get a place outside of LA. Lotta nice suburbs around there. Commerce Casino is the place to play. Their 5/10 NL games there are the [censored]. And they run daily tourneys over 200 dollar buy ins. And atleast 1 big buy in tourney a month over a G, not to mention WPT events. If you are interested in buying out here if thats where you choose to go...PM me, I could help you find a place (Real Estate Agent).

Thank God for Commerce!
