It didn't make sense to me either, and now that you've broken it down it doesn't make any sense.

What doesn't make sense?

umm, how about this phrase for starters:

"WAY more comfy - WAY more dismal."

[/ QUOTE ]

The seats and table are more comfortable. For a 10-12hr session there was no signs of back strain or leg cramps. The cushions are nice the rails are nice etc. Just over all comfortable.

The ambiance is however somewhat dismal, or dark. Upstairs was wide open, vaulted ceilings, 30ft glass wall overlooking Connecticut forrests - now you're downstairs with 10-12ft ceilings and windows on one side only.

In KSPD's defense, he's right: it's darker, more cramped, but the seats are better.

Yes. I'm hoping(praying?) that they move tables around to better spots to make room.

I'd rather see 100 tables+walking space over max tables, Japan style

I don't know if they were being honest, or just shining on the whiners - but a couple of the floor guys were constantly talking about how they'll be moving things around soon. Shutting down for a few hours to do it or something.

I'm hoping they rotate the registration desk in the Hold'em section too. Face it towards the stairs and put the crowd there instead of in the middle of the tables.

Any further updates on this? Tom, have you worked again this week? Are the touch screen things up yet?

loooooool

Thursday. You think BZ runs hot? Leave your hand on that for more than three seconds and feel how good 1st degree burns are.

Also:
The stupidest thing ever

We are "required" to riffle the deck once before putting it in the shuffler.

Say hello to washes and extra riffles every hand people, you can thank the nits at Foxwoods for the stupidest rule ever.

If you mean a quick flick of your thumb across the deck, that's OK as I helps to keep the cards from sticking and causing an issue with the shuffler. Most dealers do that before putting the cards in the machine.

I've played up to 5/10 kill at fw, all the games I've encountered are much softer than even 1/2 online, in that even the 'TAGs' do passive B&M stuff like constantly open limping, never continuation betting missed hands, never semibluffing/pumping draws, etc. How are the limits above 5/10?
