a lot of people dont like the direction hip hop is taking these days but it's no reason to be indignant about it.

At most resturaunts the credit card is charged just for the amount of the meal right away... then they bring you the two reciepts, you sign them, add tip, etc... reciept goes in the drawer. You account is considered "open" At the end of the night the manager take all the credit card reciepts and pulls out the ones without tips on them. Those accounts are immediatly closed (no more charges can be added). Then they go through in the computer and enter in the tip for each credit card that left one, then closing that account. Sometimes there are 100+ of these, and mistakes get made in entering the numbers

I would complain to both credit card and the restaurant out of principle -- if it wasn't simply a mistake then this could possibly be a serious issue, and if it was, it'll teach them to be more careful about it next time.

don't bother... just remember to not tip next time you go there...and make a big mess on the table. But be prepared to never eat there again after that. By not tipping your next meal, you will earn that $0.5 back w/ interest. That stupid waiter probably doesn't even know what the f-k interest is...and for all those people saying "blah blah blah waiters make crappy money, let him have it..." I say f-k that. Go chug wheatgrass you liberal pole smoker. If waiters/waitresses want to make better money, then they should go to school and get a real job. This is the feeling I get when a cracked out BUM asks me for change. That's just bullsh-t, yeah, he may be broke, but he's not poor. He's even. He's at zero, while I'm at negative $30k since I decided to go to college. Tell him to go suck some cock for that spare change. There's no such thing as a hand out unless you have rich parents.
