anyone else here grind out 20K /year without any software help?

I do think HUDs are an unfair advantage- and for that reason I play most of my games at Bodog. I wish PP and others would crack down- and I'll move my money back if they do.

Poker is an intellectual game- and my intellectual advantage is removed when my competition is using HUDs.

I don't use any software, but it's more out of laziness than anything else. I'll do the SNGPT stuff longhand if I'm really curious about a situation, but I have a pretty good intuitive sense about pushbotting.

OP,

No amount of software can replace creative thinking at the tables. Collecting data on yourself, however, is going to make you play better because you will want the best database for later use.

Among anything else you can possibly want, in SNG's, PT/PAHUD will show you things such as how many times this player has checkraised, their AF for any given street, their blind stealing %, and how often they make/call c-bets, by clicking one button.

I don't use any of that stuff. I've used PokerStove to work on some Game Theory applications to poker, but that's it.

Yeah I have never used HUD's. I tried once and it didn't work, but I don't think I'd want it much anyway.

ATM it is not banned. Everyone is allowed to use it, so how is it unfair? How can it be cheating to use it now?
