there are hundreds of incredible opening songs that set the tone for the given album. you should get to know the song i mentioned. the doors-the doors-break on through pink floyd-wish you were here-shine on you crazy diamond bob dylan-blood on the tracks-tangled up in blue jimi hendrix-are you experienced?-purple haze the beatles-rubber soul-drive my car the beatles-abbey road-come together U2-the joshua tree-where the streets have no name nirvana-smells like teen spirit rage against the machine-rage against the machine-bombtrack sublime-sublime-garden grove alice in chains-dirt-them bones stone temple pilots-core-dead and bloated deftones-adrenaline-bored deftones-around the fur-my own summer (shove it) this is just off the top of my head, should i get into newer music? should i get into country? its borderline retarded for you to say that there aren't a lot of good songs that set the tone for an album b/c there are a ton. |
