Re: Up $4000 in 24 hours - am I any good or just a lucky donk?
I find it kinda funny people think posts on 2+2 are 'gimmicks' or 'making it up'. I've never found that sort of thing on any other forum before.
WEIRD! |

Just keep playing. If you just keep winning 4000 a day you will win 120.000 a month!

I'm OK heads up, but I do hate it.
It's too much a game of big balls and chance. I prefer the 9-man 5/10 which is more a game of skill. |

[/ QUOTE ] Yeah, that's what I thought the first time round, I went up $8K in a month and though 'yeah baby I got my dream job'. Then I lost $10K the next month, tonnes of bad beats etc. but I was bleeding chips through stupidity also. |

You should def move UP in stakes. You're up in money which means you're obviously getting better. |

Whatever you do, don't withdraw the money. If you win 80%-90% of seen flops, you'll be a millionaire in no time.

I worry about ending up like Grimmstar, super-star high limit player one day - next day scouring the bins for half eaten McDonalds burgers. 6-man tables not my favourite....I find you need to be a bit more aggressive because the blinds come round quicker and I've lost some big pots at the 6-tables. |

Re: Up $4000 in 24 hours - am I any good or just a lucky donk?
You may be experiencing something known as variance.
Because you have no real history other than losing 2 K and winning 4K, I'm willing to bet that your best move would be to move waaaay down. Your explanation of how/why you win is very misguided. You want people to pay too much for draws. Its how you profit, when they play a hand differently than they should have. You may be the first, but I am always skeptical of claims that I can beat 5/10 but not 1/2. 1/2 is the same game with less intelligent players. |
