he is just saying that he wouldnt be in that spot because he would have slown down earlier.

agree, but history makes me adjust a little here. he probably has and bluffs with 32 combos of busted gutshot hands and he might even decide to bluff 9x.

BB has a flush and when UTG doesn't cap you know you've got him by the balls

and ffs raise the flop. by calling you're even giving a 2 out draw the correct odds to peel (considering some IO)
