seems like player A is obligated to whatever deal he offered, even though the terms were ridiculously vague, and, like NoahSD, I would not leave a conversation involving a deal dangling like that ever. I still don't get what "50 50 winner go to next stage" means, but I think Player A should honor it.

My current stake agreement has typed up "contract", aim convos, and spreadsheets tracking everything covered. I don't see how anyone could risk money without similar requirements (Except friendly prop bets + trading %, which I only do with people I trust as much as one can trust someone on the internet :P)

total aside, but I'm starting to think I'm the only person here that isn't getting staked

He said ok. Deal was made. Saying i don't have 2.5 k in my account just means he's going to have to figure a way of getting that money in.

so is the deal on?

Congrats on loading the post to get the answer you wanted.
You are expressing doubt in the losers mind. AFAIK the loser has never expressed any doubt that a deal was made, and right away contacted you to get the money. If the loser had any doubt I would agree no deal had been made. But it was YOU the Winner that doesn't seem sure so I think you should pay up.

Sorry about this being off topic. (I am assuming this is Full Tilt Ironman Freeroll. )On Full Tilt if you agree to a deal in the chat box will Full Tilt enforce it or is it a gentleman's agreement where the "losing" party is just left to hope that the party who wins will transfer the money.
