Ah, just misinterpreted push=shove.

[/ QUOTE ]

so from now on, push = throw in a fraction of the chips in your stack......... lol

i think it's close too... i think what should decide between call and shove is how often he's trying to induce on the turn and will come over the top.... since he's a station, this is unlikely, so i may lean toward pushing a fraction of my chips into the middle

[/ QUOTE ]
I thought pushing an edge could mean could mean taking advantage of a profitable situation. We can push an equity edge by raising, we're pushing our edge but we're not necessairily pushing our all our chips. English is not my first language so I might be wrong...

Edit: When posting in the limit forum people just the term all the time, and obv no-one was ever able to actually shove back then...

i think raising the turn is the best option. you have to fold if he shoves, but that is unlikely 200 BB's deep. you can raise and have the odds to see a river if he 3bets.

I play it exactly the same, against a station.

i doubt anyone here has enough credability, enough to warrent their advice being absolutely spot on and never wrong.

no need to flame. it is always good to get more opinion on a hand, even if it isn't from a great player.
