FWIW, I think religion/religiosity is +EV. If you belive your mind/thoughts can change who you are, then why not spend some time everyday thinking about/fantasizing about the ecstasy of being in heaven. If you think buddhist meditation is all about climbing a mountain and zoning out, you are wrong. Try closing your eyes and imageining bliss. Usually I just giggle myself into oblivion. How is that not +EV???
