Probably because Cam Cameron is a crappy head coach. He went 18-37 at Indiana despite having a 1st team all-American at QB (Antwaan Randle El) and a future Pro-Bowl DE who is 5th on the all time Big Ten sack list (Adewale Ogunleye).

Yeah its a tough conference but there is no excuse for how bad his teams were.

I'll go with Bill Callahan. He is currently in the process of running Nebraska football straight into the ground like he did with the Raiders, after taking Jon Gruden's team to a Super Bowl, they went 2-14 or something ridiculous like that the next year.

Art Shell was easily one of the five greatest O-Linemen I've ever seen (probably top three, maybe even #1).

He's also a fabulous O-Line coach.

But as a head coach, he was worse than all the other coaches in this thread put together.

This screams out for some kind of statistical analysis. I would start by looking at W-L records before, during, and after each coach's tenure. This is actually not that difficult to do on pro-football-reference.com.

So, who wants to get the ball rolling?
