Default Re: Hit bottom set... am I good here?

Thanks Pokey, great insight, its a whole nother aspect of the hand that I normally would think of, but not here for some reason. I think I was too shocked by BB waking up because preflop, my main concern was CO due to stack size and history at the table.

Now that you point that out, it really was a donk move to push on my part, from the perspective of what I was looking at with BOTH players.

Kasane, you've got some great insight too, but I side with Pokey on this one.

BB: I think I'm behind to him anyway, which is what I've been getting at the whole thread. But I've still decided that all my money is going in, one way or another. If this is the case, then my course of action versus BB is irrelevant, (call or push) correct?

That leaves me with CO. CO is the player to my immediate left and he's been the pain in my behind all day. The last thing I want is his money getting sidelined in this hand if he's weak. Also, if I can't win his money, I can at least shift it to my right, into the hands of the 46/11/2 player, who I have a much better chance of getting it back from. Add to that Pokey's arguement for building the side pot and Call>>>Push.

this is such a goofy line; just lead the flop. your goal should be to get ai w/the co here.
