Surprised Hughes plays considering how much of a religious whack job he seems like. Granted if it's not his money things might be a bit different.

As for poker, Hughes has actually seemed pretty decent. Never up a lot, but never down either, seems very tight.

As for him personally. If you've spent any time with him out of the public eye, you'd find his whole religous BS hysterical. Ask his ex teammates at MFS about him. Ask why he was asked to leave the team (despite the public reasoning). Ask Ben Uker's girlfriend about him. Ask Jens Pulver. Ask how many teammates girls he's either come on to, banged, or done worse to. Which is why his "I have a wife at home who I am still madly in love with" comment on last weeks show was awesome.

It's a pretty well known fact inside MMA that Zuffa has paid out some decent money to make sure his reputation didn't get ruined, I believe right before the Royce Gracie fight.
