While 1/100 will understand and implement what is said in the handful of useful threads here each month, they are still -EV nonetheless. We don't play this game to knowingly give up any edge, and this continues beyond the tables into places like this.

I registered here in May of 2005. I finally reached 1k posts a few days ago. I have played professionally online for 4 years now. OP is of course, %100 correct.

The trick is to know that they know that you know that they know that you know that you read on 2+2.

try this. most of the guys i talk to about poker at work play online too. some even play 100NL & 200NL. they see the NLHT&P, SSHE, TOP or HFAP book in my bag which i'll read when we are on down time and ask me if i play poker too. we get to talking about poker and they have no idea of poker forums, PT or PAHUD. they play blind. don't assume everyone on the table is datamining hands on you. the game is g00t still.

no giving you guys concepts allows you to build bankrolls at 5/1 and 1/2 so you can move up to where i play and misuse the concepts.

I didn't think my opinion of you could get much lower after i saw what you wrote in CMAR's shortstacking thread.

The guys that contribute help their game from teaching others. When you teach something you really learn it.

When I played limit, I felt some sort of obligation to help others get better since other people sharing in the forum was the main reason I got where I got there. To take the help and not give any seemed like the action of a prick.

I posted in that thread SgtJake is referring to. Albeit a drunk rambling post. I felt the need to reply here. I certainly don't think "your popularity will go down" because of your view.

These forums have taught us all alot. When i see a thread where i feel i have a great enough of understanding of the topic i add my 2 cents. Apart from that i stick to the 1 liners in bbv. It only seems fair to give back to the community.

Great idea OP! I have a few other ideas as well to help with the movement.

We should burn all the poker books in the world. Also, we are going to need to hire someone to "take care of" harrington. He keeps making these books exposing the secrets of "M" and now every tourney player is +ev.

After this we still face a bigger foe. The internet. It allows people to spread information too easily via rogue sites like 2+2. We must destroy the internet. As you are well aware, the internet is a series of tubes:

We are going to need someone to get into these tubes and take them out.

Keep fighting the good fight. Viva la resistance!
