i didnt put de la rocha on there cause i thought he was best, i put him there cause he represents a different genre. my original list was just plant, daltrey, mercury and morrison, but i figured that was too small so i put some others that had come up

I'm not sure who the "best" is - which is pretty much a personal call, but I don't see how someone like Steve Perry among others is left off lists to consider.

Yeah, how about

Mike Patton
Anthony Kiedas
Bono
Bowie
Eddie Vedder?

I could see your list if you cut it down, maybe narrowed it to best classic rock era "frontman" or whatever, but pure singers, eh

to those who ssy this list is bad, tell me who you think is better. some of the choices were more so it wasnt like i was just putting the obvious choices without considering others. the other names i put were ones that were argued when i was talking about this question to start, so i put them as possibilities

[/ QUOTE ]

ozzy osbourne, axl rose, steven tyler, iggy pop, joey ramone, david lee roth, eddie vedder, bon scott, brian johnson, anthony kiedis, layne staley, scott weiland, there's probably some more really good ones too...
