I've seen him play and showdown hands and it just wouldn't make sense he would limp with QJ. Ok, so he's not solid in the way he should be playing PP, but he's solid enough to be playing a semi TAG game where he knows when to put his money in.

Of course if this hand happened again, would I call? Damn straight I will, but it was the combination of seeing villain play and the betting pattern of limping/calling that had me a little skeptical of holding the best hand.

Which brings this thread to an end...

Maybe I'm being a little narrow minded but usually when I see a limper from early position, I assume either SC, or low PP.

Stop thinking this. Not at these limits.

He limp/called preflop and went crazy on a flop.. this can be AA/KK, KQ, maybe even JJ or TT. There's one hand that beats you in his range, why worry about folding?

I am in the folding camp.

I hope you don't take this too personally, but the above statement should pretty much tell you that this shouldn't have been a thread. You (and everyone else here) know that this is a hand where you have to get the money in, so it's probably best to just move on and forget about it. Posting this just gets a lot of people riled up over nothing.

Call so fast. If anything, it probably is not a monster because people just love to slowplay big flops at these limits.

When you see someone limping at NL10 you should generally be thinking "ATC".

Which is why I announced to close this thread. Yeah it's a pointless thread which is why I'm surprised it was bumped up again. I'm just happy that I called his hand exactly. Oh wells, /end thread
