If you say he's never done something like this before, I think fold is good. The fact that you have nitty image makes me want to fold my overpair for 180BB. Do you really see him doing this with QQ especially since the flop came J9x?

Stoving this hand is pretty pointless imo. You have no idea of this guys range and his range is going to be vastly weighted in one way or another depending on the player. If you have a read, great, go with it. If you don't have one you have to make your best guess - I think we're good enough to call here, but I certainly can't fault folding.

And if someone just says 'not much invested - fold' or 'you gave him odds to setmine' again I'm guna stab myself in the eye.

Against a huge fish I'd have a real hard time folding

there's not much invested so you should fold. also you gave him the odds to setmine.

Actually in real life I probably do fold, but I don't know if it matters much either way. basically just a feel situation here. He'll show up with stuff like A4 but also J9, so it's hard to say.

wouldn't he try to get value out of a set or 2 pair hands? i can't decide what the best play is here, i don't think calling is horrible and i don't think folding is horrible.

What do you mean? Would you reraise his minraise to like $35-$40 or what?

I call quick. If he plays a set like this, then good for him. Two pair is obviously possible but only one combo of it, therefore I definitely don't fold here.

Even though this would be a decent reasoning for 100bbs, he can absolutely have other suited two pair hands here.
