i think theres easier ways to take this donks money

also i think a lot of 'bluffs' beat you on this board...it's not even paired -_-

Raise more on the flop (if you want to raise). Take a freecard on the turn. Fold the river, even a bluff can eaily be ahead of you here.

Many solid points, but I don't think many bluffs are ahead of me here, and I disagree with whoever said donks take this line because they don't know how to extract value out of made hands.

I'd challenge you to find even one hh where a fish donk/called the flop, called the turn, and open shoved the river with a made hand.

I also don't get the "wait for a better spot" comments. This isn't super deep, it's not a tournament, I can rebuy, and I can still take the "better spot". It's either +EV or it's not. Am I misunderstanding something in regards to this?

I agree. Wait for a better spot isnt logic used in cash games so please MTT donks go back to your forum.

You're wrong. Kd, Td and 7d are already dead obv. You're behind Jxdd, 5xdd, 6xdd, 98dd, AQdd, 43dd. QTdd and T9dd will probably 3-bet the flop having huuuuge draws, maybe also Q9dd. So you're hoping he has a fd: A9/A8/A4/A3/A2? There's really not many more FDs possible. Or otherwise QTo, which I agree isn't impossible. Well maybe he turned a PP or 7x to a bluff? You're behind that too.

Point being the times you're behind his bluff will severely hurt the ev of the call, esp since there's not many combos busted draws you're ahead of.

well thanks for the compliment, i often do think about stopping posting here, maybe i will. and as for this logic, im only saying why take an insanely -ev situation like this where you will find MANY HUGELY +ev spots in the future.

also i dont think you have much fold equity by your turn bet unless you are directly putting him on a draw because of his timing tells, and obviously then you would need to call river
