There's never even been a 3-way tie before. Right? [/ QUOTE ] I thought there was once? Maybe 6 or 7 years ago, in the NL? Cubs were involved? Am I totally making this up? |

OK, all you tie fans. Root hard for the Dodgers tonight. If they beat the Rockies, the dream of a five-way-tie stays alive.

[/ QUOTE ] Pretty sure it hasn't happened. Almost did in 98. Cubs & Giants went into the final day tied for the Wild Card with the Mets 1 back. All 3 teams lost, Cubs beat the Giants at Wrigley the next day thanks to a Steve Trachsel and a Gary Gaetti HR. Their was some scenario in 05 with about a week left were the Yankees, Red Sox, White Sox & Indians could've all tied for 3 spots. |

[ QUOTE ]
Dbacks lose tomorrow, Rox win tomorrow, Rox take 2 out of 3 from Dbacks at home. Or Dbacks win, Rox lose, and then Rox sweep Dbacks. Padres split with the Brewers. Mets win 2 out of their last 4. Phillies win 3 out of their last 4. BOOM! 5 way playoff. [/ QUOTE ] Coolest thing ever. Seriously awesome. |
