don't you have two monitors by now?

When I'm playing on interpoker and chatting...typing is so hard (because inter always steals focus) that I'm often so focussed on trying to get the damn text typed before inter steals focus that I lose even more focus on the tables.

TweakUI should help you immensely in this area.

tweak UI does not work for a lot of people, and I'm pretty sure it doesn't work with AP focus stealing.

AIM is the death of me. I've been working on trying to keep it turned off while playing nowadays because it really does affect my play. It's just so hard though because typing on AIM, watching tv, listenign to music all are what make playing online somewhat relaxing isntead of true grinding.

Im starting to "ghost" while playing. No one interupts, but you can still chat to people if you have too.

Today while 6 tabling midlimit HE, I 3 bet AKo from the bb. As I was about to click bet on the AQ9 flop, my hand disappeared. I'm not going to speculate on how much earn I cost muself, but AIM/web/whatever makes 4-6 hours of 4-6 tabling more tolearble.

Just sign off or stay invisible. I've done some stupid calls instead of folds and raises instead of calls or folds cause I was busy on AIM. It probably doesn't hurt your winrate too much, maybe -0.025bb/100. Heh, one time I just called a full house that I had on the river when it gave someone else the nut flush because I was busy chatting...

I agree 100% with Dids. I think having aim up is actually +EV. I can talk to someone or do something else instead of "just playing" where I'd play 2000 hands instead of 1500. I think those extra 7-12 bb's nullify the 3-4 bb's I may of lose because of an error solely due to being on AIM.

2 monitors has nothing to do with the focus stealing.

I can be typing in the window on one monitor...and if it's my turn suddenly on an Interpoker or Stars or Absolute table then everything I type goes right onto that table.

Party really gets this right by NOT doing this.
