i think a lot of people do this play because at first they were floating but then when you double barrel they're like "[censored] it i'll raise anyway."
also, this is hardly ever a flush in my experience; so if you call the turn you have to call the river.
Shoving the turn certainly has merit as well... I don't think I'm ever folding, though.

I bet more on flop/turn. If I call the turn, I beat nothing (only AIR) when the flush come (you can just raise your FD on the turn after two weak bets...).

I probably fold the turn or shove it.

For the record, if Adam has a flush here, he misplayed it without some history.

I agree with this theory.

I think hero should know I never have spades here. I think this makes river very interesting.

i think i would have folded turn had i not been on tilt (one time)

i knew you didn't have a flush, but i also figured that river would be a pretty [censored] spot for you to bluff, since my hand was more or less face up
