You dont think KC at home vs Minn with a new qb is a decent pick?
Also, in suicide leagues you try to save some of the good picks.
But keep only betting by records and not matchups. Nice comparison of KC at arrowhead to Atl or Buff.

[/ QUOTE ]

KC is an awful awful awful pick.

Awesome. You know you're ROT, and wrong for pointing it out, and so you result to personal attacks. Way to build your credibility.

Ummm... I dont know how you play suicide leagues, but I try to save teams like NE, Pitt and Indy for later in the year.

As it is winner take all, you dont want to make it to like week 9 and have to choose from the browns and falcons and lose.

I then pick a winner, and you still whine. Ill take my pick to the bank. Nice call on the Vikings playing at arrowhead, with a rookie RB and back qb!

I don't think anyone said the Vikings were going to win. We all said they were a stupid pick for a suicide pool.

Other good picks must have been the Giants, Raiders and Packers.

Jazzy,

Your strategy isn't super horrid, but not for the reasons you think.

Your thinking on the other hand is super horrible.

You can be ROT as much as you want, it's not gonna bother me. The point of it all is that KC is clearly an inferior choice to one of the other big fav teams of the week, and picking one of them now gives you a FAR better chance to make it to week 9 than your strategy.

In my survivor league I've taken Sea, then Jax, then Balt. I've still got a whole slew of really good teams to pick from so what do I have to worry about? Especially because by week 9 there will be teams no one thought would be early powers who will make nice choices. The Chiefs - Arrowhead or not - are a horrible team and SHOULD be compared to some of the worst in the NFL. They played one of the other worst teams in the NFL, and IMO it's stupid to put your survivor pool on the line this early on one of the worst teams just so you can "save" a good team for later.

Good survivor players don't ever have to play the Browns or Falcons ... or Chiefs ... cause they find good value everywhere. It's not like there's 32 weeks in the year and I actually have to worry about picking the Browns at some point.

And oh by the way, I'm not whining about your picking a winner, I'm telling you you're acting results oriented, and your personal attacks on other posters are frankly pathetic.
