If you like Chamillionaire make sure to pick up "get ya mind correct" which he did with Paul prior to Controversy sells. It's his best album to date IMO. It was nominated for best indie album of the year by The source in 2002.


OP, favorite songs off the album? Rock Star, Industry Groupie, Won't let you down, Welcome to the South, I think I love you, You must be crazy, Rocky Road, and the outro track are all 5/5 tracks to me.

Kanye is a good producer but as far as an MC Chamillionaire has it in every category. Flow, multisyllable rhymes, internal rhymes, hook writing, it isn't a contest.

ShakeZula06: Finally someone who knows what they're talking about. Yeah, I have "Get Ya Mind Correct" and it is definitely hot. Off the top of my head, the first 4 tracks are bangers. Morning News/Evening News/Industry Groupie is [censored] awesome/Rock Star is siiick (lil' wayne is my favorite artist) and yeah the last track "Ultimate Victory" is vv good. As a whole, the entire CD besides maybe two songs I could listen to over and over, just like his last CD.

Just after a few listens through I can't help but notice his "singing" if you want to call it. I know he's always had a sort of singer style to his choruses and stuff but there's a LOT of it in this album, and it's really good imo.
