chk'ing the turn if far superior to shoving turn.

I dont agree with this, I think its an auto shove once we get here

I disagree, turn is a chk because:
- Many low stakes pros absolutely love checking the turn with AK and vbetting the river.
- If this is his grand plan on the turn, he's going to bet any river anyway and instacall a shove, so you're stacking him if you hit and losing nothing more if you miss and he has a K.
- The flop is so dry hero doesn't need to rep a K by betting turn, he can just as easily do it on the river. In hero's shoes, 95% of ppl will check pairs lower than a K behind on the river, so you shouldn't get looked up by anything but a K if he checks and you bluff riv.

Anyway - mathematically speaking, the minor bump you get in FE from bet/calling the turn (I wouldn't shove) is not worth the increase in risk when compared to checking the turn and betting the river, especially given you're stacking him either way if he actually has a hand and you hit.

it basically comes down to what range you can rep by shoving the turn and what range you can rep by VB'ing the river. Jman talks about the concept briefly in his video.

Shoving the turn isn't terrible here but I like the above line better. By checking the turn here, and "value betting" the river if he checks again, it's much more believable that you actually have a hand. That being said, I think calling preflop here sucks, and I think that 4 bet shoving or folding is much better.

Yea I get that preflop sucks. I knew it as soon as I did it. Was more interested in the rest of the hand.

Thanks for the input.

push or fold pf. chk turn all day and wait till river to bluff or hit ur hand. you rep such a narrow range here by shoving the turn whereas you can rep KJ+, set, QQ even by betting the river if chk'd to.

i wouldn't fold much to ur turn bet honestly.

Your turn shove screams of weakness.
