They've looked really, really bad 2 straight weeks. Even mediocre teams don't lose 38-7 to most opponents.

Is this so unrealistic?
Notre Dame put up a better fight at a decent Penn State team than Michigan did at home vs. Oregon.
With Michigan's gutter-level morale combined with their horrid defense it doesn't seem impossible for them to lose to Notre Dame coming up as well.

Being realistic I think it's likely they pick up at least 3 more near-definite losses vs Penn State, Wisconsin and Ohio State.
Those 3 alone take them to 5 losses.

In their other 7 games they would have to go 6-1 vs Notre Dame, Northwestern, MSU, Eastern Mich, Purdue, Illinois and Minnie.

I can see them doing this and making it to 7-5 or just 6-6.

I don't think they can lose to Ill, NW, EMU.
But 4 other teams might actually be capable of pulling it off. Those being ND, MIN, MSU and maybe even PUR.

I wouldn't have previously thought those teams would have a shot of course.
But that was back when I thought Michigan might have something resembling a defense.

Judging by performance so far this year, the MIN game is a gimmie. Hart guaranteed a victory over ND, so thats a check, LOL.

I'm not saying its impossible. I just think its an overreaction, and that they will most likely make a bowl game. Perhaps its just because...this is MICHIGAN for christsake.

Normally I'd be stoked to not see Michigan on the schedule, but this year it'd be fun to kick them while they were down.
