1.I fold T8 ss preflop.
2.I def bet the flop....just because thats what i do, with the plan of firing again on the turn but folding to a big reraise on the flop if it happens....
3.I check raise the turn allin...and check call an allin push on the turn....the bounty equity is enormous.

4.If there were no bounty, I would be less inclined to check the turn., and more inclined to just firs big or shove.

Two plus two commandment #8:

Those with less than 50 posts shalt not instruct poker pros which cards to fold preflop.

Folding preflop is a bad play in this situation.

Let's not start with this crap again. He didn't instruct David on anything, he said what he would do. David makes these invaluable posts knowing there will be amateurish questioning sometimes of his moves (that's not a comment on this particular post one way or the other). That's fine, it can be weeeded through.

Is this a joke that I'm missing? I'm sure people are interested in hearing sheets opinion regardless of how many posts he's made here. In fact, most people probably wish he'd post more.

we sometimes have a bad habit of being over-protective of those of "us" (2+2ers) that have "made it" in the way that Raymer, Cossio and others have. don't take it to heart. you obviously have a lot of talent for the game and i'm sure your opinion will be highly valued here.

Just b/c he happens to be a very good and well known player, shouldn't change your reaction to his posts. If he was some random dude, he has every right to state his opinions about David's play. It just makes it funny, when you call out someone then realize....oh S#&*$

David,
Care to discuss why seeing a free river card is so bad here?
He is more likely to bet the hands we are behind, isn't a check-call on most rivers, a profitable play if he checks behind on the turn?

No.

Please stay.

Your contributions are valued.

Actually, most of us would like you to bring more quality P5'ers over to post once in a while as well.

Regards,
Woodguy
