looks like he has these WR:

R Moss
S Moss
B Berrian
D Bennett
R Curry

other bench players

W Dunn
A Peterson (Minn)

not a lot here to target. could possibly get him to include S Moss or Dunn.

I just made this deal. I’m pretty sure I made out on it. 6pts/TD, 1pt/10 yds rushing or receiving. We start 2 RBs, 2 WRs, a flex and 1 TE.

My relevant players:

Starters:

LaDainian Tomlinson – RB
Marion Barber – RB
Marvin Harrison – WR
Marques Colston – WR
Javon Walker – Flex
Jeremy Shockey – TE

Bench:

Reuben Droughns – RB
Ladell Betts – RB
Greg Jennings – WR
Santonio Holmes – WR
Brandon Jones – WR
Chris Cooley – TE

Yeah, I have both Shockey and Cooley. My friend drafted for me and he was able to grab Cooley in the 10th round. I’m obviously hurting at running back. Auto-draft was giving certain teams running backs for seven rounds straight and by the time my friend got around to getting a second back in the 6th round, Marion Barber was the best available.

Anyways, I just received Travis Henry for Jeremy Shockey. I lose almost nothing by giving up Shockey because Cooley projects to be as good if not better. But I gain Henry and his 58 kids and get to play matchups with Barber/Colston/Walker.

A+ trade for me?

parrot, I'd make that trade in a flash. Start with Peterson and hope he bites. If not, maybe you can negotiate down to Santana or Berrian. Hell, I think even getting Curry would probably improve your team.

heh, guess it's less of a "how'd i do" and more of a "omg brag" because I rarely make trades. I made one last year, and it was awful. So I'm just psyched that I could make one. I get better at this stupid game every year.

6/10 people in my league are females. None of them are the worst player. One guy's first 3 picks were Chad Johnson, Randy Moss and Donte Stallworth. I'm not sure they're going to mind too much.

This is a $30 league, interestingly enough. It really depresses me that I couldn't draft my own team, because while my friend did an awesome job for being unfamiliar with this stuff, I still think my team could be even more stacked had I drafted.

But hey, I theoretically got Travis Henry with the 61st pick and Chris Cooley with the 100th.

yeah, i'm not huge on Johnson this year, and i don't like Jones as a steady second back. Gore/Addai would by a mile be the best RB combo in that league and i'm not exactly hurting only having to start 2 WR anyway. truth be told this kid is kind of an idiot, i was just hoping to have a more bountiful pillage of his team. hard to do when his team is worse than the 4 auto-picks we had in the league. we'll see.

Also, this actually isn't an awful trade for my opponent. She already has LJ, Maroney and McGahee starting for her, and still has Norwood, Lamont Jordan and Julius Jones as backups. Her TE was Troupe. So she sacrifices some depth for probably a 5 pts/game increase at TE.
