TBH I think this is pretty bad considering my 3-betting range, which against Crimson is probably something like: AJ+, TT+, and the occasional suited connector.

[/ QUOTE ]

To the person who asked if I play poker.. Was I far off?

[/ QUOTE ]

Let's see, we have an UTG open-limp and semi-LAG isolation raise OTB. Yep, a semi-LAG SB is definitely 3-betting a tight range here. Come on.

Even if he's only 3-betting TT+, AJ+ we have 50% equity and position against that range. That's if he's never raising SCs or other hands like small pairs, suited aces, broadways, etc. Folding pf is just ridiculous.

If he respects my game, I shove. If not, I peel one.

Totally freaking ridiculous, Keitan please read more and post less. And I am not trying to bash, from one newbie to another I think you got some things to learn though.

I am on tilt from reading your first comment, and then the second acting like he you are right!! Sweet Jesus

If you do push the flop and get called you are behind a lot more than youre ahead. You do have 10 outs so if you do push just hope to see AA. Out of all the hands that would call you youre only a 3/2 dog against it.

I agree folding is completely ridiculous. I was just trying to point out that calling PF is pretty much the only option given OP's image. He is not semi-lag...but actually borderline nitty (sorry OP :P).

I will say...my range for 3-betting here AND c-betting this flop is pretty tight against this particular villain.

maybe you haven't made a move on this guy yet, but from what i've seen of your game i come back over the top of you a lot lighter than jj pf

[/ QUOTE ]

And maybe it would work for you.

However, I have villain at like 16/12 and he's only stealing 28% of the time. My 3-betting range is significantly tighter against him than it might be against you.

From OP:

[ QUOTE ]
My read on him is that he is a semi-LAG like myself

[/ QUOTE ]

LOL, 16/12 ain't exactly semi-LAG in my book, so this could change things. Not sure if I like a flop push anymore.

OP, how far off are these stats from your actual ones?

In regards to his range? Yeah a little off.
In regards to the correct action given his range? Yes, you were WAY, WAY off.

Edit. Nevermind...I'm such a donk when it comes to reading comprehension.

Is there any chance we're not facing a strong turn bet from this villain after the flop cbet?
