[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] i doubt anyone's gonna beat the rake. [/ QUOTE ] Agree, and even if u are really focused and u beat the game by 0.6BB/100... so what... who wants to make $12/100 hands? U cant play poker for a living with those winrates. [/ QUOTE ] $12/100 hands, 6-7 tables = ~800 hands/hour = $96/ hour. Not too shabby? [/ QUOTE ] I would be thrilled to beat 7 tables for .6/100 but I honestly can't and doubt that many can for an extended period if the games are all 27/17 or whatever. |

[/ QUOTE ] I'm not going to bother doing any math, but the swings would make that $96/hour seem like pocket change. You'd need a HUGE number of bbs to feel remotely comfortable playing 6-7 aggro short-handed tables with a winrate of ~.5bb/100. |

So im sitting at P-stars 6-max 10-20s right now, tables are all 27/17/3. Anyway I can make money off of these guys besides hitting a set over a set? [/ QUOTE ] Vs. players who play well preflop one makes only what one makes post-flop; with experience one gets a line and stats for that but considering the rake that's still high at that level, especially without rakeback, I don't think one makes any money. |
